Meena is a great multilingual Indian film actress. She was born in Chennai, India on September 16, 1973 to Durairaj and Raj Mallika couple. From her 9 years of age Meena began to act in many Tamil and Telugu films. Since she was very busy in her film career, she was unable to continue her studies after 8th standard. However, she completed her 10th standard with private coaching. She passed her M.A (History) in 2006 from University of Madras. Besides acting in various films Meena is a talented classic dancer, good model and playback singer. She is able to speak and write in 6 different Indian languages. She married Mr.Vidyasagar, Software Engineer, Bangalore on July 12, 2009 at Thirumala, A.P.

Her first film in Tamil, Poove Poochhodava, became successful in which she acted as granddaughter of the senior actress Padmini.
