Supreme Star Sarath Kumar is the most popular Kollywood actor and politician of Tamil Nadu, India. He was born on July 14, 1954 in New Delhi, India. In his long span of cinema life he has acted in many tens of films in various Indian languages including Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi. Initially he married Chaya and few years back after getting divorce from first wife Chaya he married the popular film and media actress M.R.Radhika and the son Rahul was born to them. Sarath Kumar has been recently elected as M.L.A for Tenkasi Assembly constituency of T.N.

On those days, when he entered into the cine field, he began to appear as villan in many Tamil films. In fact he did not have any strong back ground to come up in the field.
All he achieved in his life is only through his dedicated hard work and honesty. In 1987 he became a film distributor and later he developed himself as a film producer by producing the Tamil movie named Kan Simittum Neram. In that movie he had acted as a police officer. Then he he showed his talent by acting as villan in many Tamil films such as Pulan Visaranai, Santhana Katru and so on.

His good body structure, smart look and great acting talent made him one of the most successful commercial heroes of Kollywood industry. He took is first positive role in the Tamil film Captain Prabakaran released in the year 1992. After the great success of that film, he started to show his incomparable acting talent in many successive Tamil films. Cheran Pandian, Sooryan, Samundi, Nattamai, Natpukkaha, Janaki Raman, Tenkasi Pattanam, Moovendar, Soorya Vamsham, Pattali, Mayee, Kattabomman, Vedan, Ayya, Arasu, I Love India and Kambeeram are some of his box offce hits.
