Nayanthara is the popular Indian film actress born in Thiruvalla of Kerala, India as daughter of Mr. Kurian Kodiattu (retired Air Force Officer) and Mrs. Omana Kurian couple. Her real name is Diana Mariam Kurian and she is christain by religion. She completed her B.A (Literature) graduation at Marthoma College of Thiruvalla, Kerala. Before entering into cinema she worked as a model and won Best Model Award in 2002.
Her first debut Malayalam film is Manassinakkare released in 2003. She has acted in many Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu films and played opposite leading actors of South India such as Rajini Kanth, Sarath Kumar, Mohanlal, Jeyaram and so on.
