Actress Nayanthara

Nayanthara is the popular Indian film actress born in Thiruvalla of Kerala, India as daughter of Mr. Kurian Kodiattu (retired Air Force Officer) and Mrs. Omana Kurian couple. Her real name is Diana Mariam Kurian and she is christain by religion. She completed her B.A (Literature) graduation at Marthoma College of Thiruvalla, Kerala. Before entering into cinema she worked as a model and won Best Model Award in 2002.

Her first debut Malayalam film is Manassinakkare released in 2003. She has acted in many Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu films and played opposite leading actors of South India such as Rajini Kanth, Sarath Kumar, Mohanlal, Jeyaram and so on.


Manassinakkare, Vismayathumbathu, Natturajavu, Thaskara Veeran and Rappakal are some of the Malayalam films in which Nayantara starred. Ayya, Chandramukhi, Ghajini, Sivakasi, Kalvanin Kadhali, Vallavan, Billa, Thalaimagan, Sivaji: The Boss, Kuselan, Villu, Aadhavan and Boss Engira Bhaskaran are some Nayanthara acted Tamil movies. Dubai Seenu, Yogi, Tulasi, Lakshmi and Sri Rama Rajyam are some Telugu box office hits in which Nayanthara acted.

Nayanthara won Asianet Award for Best Female New Face of the year 2003 (Manassinkkare), Vijay Award for Female Heroine in 2007 (Billa), Vijay Award for the favorite heroine in2008 (Yaradi Nee Mohini) and Asianet Award for Best Actress for starred in the Malayalam movie Bodyguard.
